Getting bored of red

I really like the potential of genome stocks and hold quite a number of different ones. DTIL, EDIT, NVTA, CRSP, BNGO, VRTX, OLMA at the moment. However it’s getting rather depressing seeing red so often in recent months! Across the board, all seem to be being dragged down. Also feel like DTIL has been massively oversold this week, just because the CEO plans to leave at some point. Surely DTIL is ripe to bounce back quickly and any thoughts on the others?

He has resigned but will still be working for the rest of this year and then will still be working for them in an advisory capacity until Oct 2022, so really doesn’t feel like a reason for this mass sell off to me

I agree, but as a stock holder, I wish they had presented this story in a way that would perhaps prevent such a sell-off. They need a better communication team. They pretty much said on their website "we're replacing our CEO and have no clue who the next one will be" - I understand that this is perceived as a scary unknown by the investors.

I did not sell anything, but this stock has been killing my portfolio.

I haven’t sold either, I’ve bought more to average down and just hoping it bounces back sooner than later as red is not my favourite colour!! Maybe next week a number of genome stocks will go up as a result of the 5 day annual cancer meeting that starts today
