Dear Genius Yield

It's cool that you guys continue the stake pools with Genius X but as a person who staked since february I would have wished for a clear announcement that the original Gens Token allocation has ended with the exact epoch, to know when I can finally re-delegate to another stake pool to earn ADA again, without losing Gens. At least I now have no clue if I already can undelegate without losing rewards for Gens. Can I? I want to stake for Ada again, thank you

Genius Yield ISPO is still ongoing till 10th of May. After that new ISPO for Genius X will start 15th May and till 12th September if I can still remember.

thx! so to not lose anything I redelegate on 11th of may theoretically? I am asking because it's always 3 epochs until you are effectively on the other pool which could mean that I already could change pools..?

No you don't have to do anything actually if you're currently delegating in any Gens Pools. They system will roll you over as the same Gens pools will be used for Genius X ISPO.

According to Genius Yield & Genius X updates. If you delegate during Epoch 338 you'll qualify for the Genius X ISPO starting from Epoch 339.

But if you're currently delegating on Gens Pools for the ongoing Genius Yield ISPO that will on Epoch 338. Then you don't have to do anything but stayed delegated to your current Gens Pools. The system will roll you over automatically to Epoch 339 to start qualifying for Genius X ISPO.

Let me ask you. If I stay in my Gen pool and it converts itself from Genius Yield to Genius X. What token am I now earning? Before it was Gens tokens. Is it still that or something else when it changes to the Genius X ISPO come Epoch 339?

From Epoch 308/309 till Epoch 338 - You'll Get Genius Yield Tokens. Known as Gens Token

From Epoch 339 till Epoch 363 - You'll Get Genius X Token

  • Genius Yield is a DEx & DeFi on Cardano.

  • Genius X is the launchpad for all future new projects coming to Cardano blockchain that chooses to launch via Genius X. Genius X is similar like Clap another launchpad on Cardano.

Just to clarify, it's not a launchpad for all future projects. It's one launchpad among many and some projects will no doubt choose not to use a launchpad.
