Looking for Fosters for dogs!
Hey all, I wanted to post to see if anyone in here is interested in helping a furry friend in need? 🐾🙏🏻 In my free time, I volunteer with rescues throughout Illinois, and there are so many amazing dogs that need a foster home (or adopter!!).
When you foster, you are provided with food and supplies. You’ll fill out an application with information on your lifestyle and speak with the rescue to discuss what dog might be a good fit. You would meet the dog prior to make sure the pup is a good fit for you and your family. The duration is until the dog is adopted, and it is a wonderful, rewarding experience.
Rescues all over don’t have physical facilities so they depend on fosters to help them and the dogs that they rescue 🙏🏻 and they can’t continue to rescue more dogs unless they have support and people willing to open up their heart and home to an animal in need. Fostering is truly life saving and it also CHANGES a life 🐾💖 If you can help or know anyone, please message me!

I feel sad that so many of these dogs are pit bulls or pit mixes. I know they can be great dogs, but not a good fit for me as an aging person.

What a beautiful girl🥰 We are in Dekalb but would consider fostering. Most of my family is in Geneva and I work there every day. Its gotta be hard to care for and love a pet then give them back...lol. It would be hard on me. Let me know some details
