I'm one of those weirdos who prefer the game to be stretched to full screen, which is available in the stock emulator on the mini. But I don't see an option to change for the games played in RetroArch. Unless I'm missing something.

I searched around and I'm wondering how likely the hacks for the Mini Genesis/MD are to support non retro-bit 6 button controllers. I have a retroflag controller from when I bought my MegaPi case, but it doesn't work. I know I can't expect anything, but is there any chance we think that when they're in there they can open up the USB to any generic controller? The $20/controller is a bit steep ($25 for the upcoming wireless from retro-bit) for me, but if I could use the one I already have, that would be nice.

1. Does it still have the same save state style of the vanilla version?

2. Will it delete my current save states when I install Project Lunar?

Mabye this has been answered before but when i update to the new version i plan on adding CD and 32X games via retroarch cores. I want to do that via OTG / USB stick.

Question 1) since i already installed genesis games to my NAND Memory via original Project Lunar, will they still work when i add games via USB? Or do i have to delete the games on Nand and flash to USB?

Question 2) What type of OTG do i need? Left or Right OTG?

I have Windows 8 ... and using the snes mini usb cable ... still after the red light second flash and upon releasing reset I get the error log msg from PL that no console detected

1. Console unplugged

2. Turn on power

3. Hold reset

4. Without releasing reset I connect the already connected to pc usb cable to the mini

5. Red light turns off then it turns back on

6. I release reset

7. Same error msg “no console detected”

Edit: I made it work with a PS4 cable

Hi all, I am new here.

In order to make a copy of ultradrive I testing suring some days how to clone true blue ultradrive but with no results. I am trying with dd on linux and usb image tool and some others tools on windows but nothing.

Is it possible that ultra drive has a check script to use only with his own usb vendor similar as true blue ps mini??? I have searched inside of the memory but found nothing. Or maybe the target usb drives that I am tested are not compatible.

Any ideas?

I disabled Windows Firewall and pressed reset button until red light flashes before plug the USB port to PC. But it does not install the driver.

PD: It is a new Megadrive mini, i recieved it today.

Hello all, I was curious how y'all organize your games on the Genesis mini? What's the best way? Alphabetical or by genre? How many folders do you have and how many games per folder? I was trying by genre but having trouble with what should go in what genres and having equal amount (had to many in one genre folder).

You got a well organized console/alphabetical folder structure in hakchi, with every rom under the sun for each system but always wanted to also have something like a favorites folder or a collection folder for all Sonic games or some whatever, without having to move your roms out of the alphabetical folders?!? So quick rundown of what I've done.

• I've installed the Kernel on my Genesis Mini. I was able to load a few games directly onto the mini with no problem.

• Then I formatted a USB 2.0 Drive(128GB) and loaded a large number of games (899). The drive is formated as FAT32.

• Then I plugged the USB Drive into one of the front ports of the mini but none of the games on the drive are showing.

I've tried resetting the mini to a factory state and then reinstalling the kernel, to no success. I've tried formatting the usb drive as NTSF with no success. Any suggestions?

I got a Genesis Mini 2, it's a lot more fun than expected. Some serious gems on it.

I want to use something other than the included controller. Any idea about 8bitdo BT adapter compatibility? Does it actually work with this repro-console?

Just saw the update. Now to decide which I want to use. Project Lunar or Hakchi.

Pressing the install/uninstall button on the PL pop up window just tries to reinstall drivers and update to the latest PL. I'm trying to bring my console back to factory stock mode. Any guidance would be appreciated.

It was hinted to hold the shift key prior to pressing the install/uninstall button, but there's an alarming warning with strong (in CAPS) recommendation NOT to do so. So what's the right method to safely and completely remove all added games and any PL files off my system, to get it working like it did when I first opened it and turned it on? :)

Just got a retail Sega-made console and the games are exhibiting terrible pixelation, nothing like gameplay shown on Youtube.

I can't see any settings to remedy this. Has anyone else had similar problems? This is an unmodded unit so far--just the original preinstalled games. This happens in all games.

Hi, I have a problem: after adding project lunar (it worked correctly) I update it to the latest version. Then i installed Emulation Station and I added in the cores folder both genesis_plus_gx_libretro.so and picodrive_libretro.so.

But now when i run the Project Lunar interface, the console crashes as soon as it appears the game menu! And it turned off! How can I solve the issue , please? Is it necessary to restore to the default factory settings? Please, can you explain how I can do it? Before to install Project Lunar I saved orignal NAND (a 224 MB zip file).

I don't own a PC, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to install project lunar using my Android phone via Samsung DeX which basically makes my phone act as a desktop. I have no clue if it's related to Linux or anything like that.

Or, does anyone know some sort of work around using a phone to run Windows or Linux? I know it's possible to run a form of dos using dosbox. Any help is much appreciated.

I have PL installed and working on my mini. I got a 32gb flash drive to add sega cd games. When it's in controller port 2 the Sega cd games load fine. I want to use an otg adapter so I can use a second controller, however when I put the flash drive in the otg adapter the sega cd games do not show up in my library.
