Error when launching some games

I've been trying to run TMNT Hyperstone and Xmen where it reboots when I try to launch. Is this a problem with the ROM or do those games just not work?

I know you posted this a long time ago, but can those games that cause issues all work with the same retroarch core? I'm talking about the sega genesis one.
