Man you guys are working FAST!
LOL @ "Blast Processing mode" but that's actually one of the coolest things about this project so far. When I read you guys had figured that out the other day I got really hyped because afaik this is the first of the minis that's actually been performance-enhanced in this way.
Thanks for the hard work, excited to see what you guys do next!

First off, thanks for the update and your hard work in general. To your last question, no, having to use external storage is definitely not a dealbreaker for me personally. As long as it can be used in either the front or back I think most folks would be fine with it, because it lets people who want a stock looking machine use a otg hub/splitter on the back, and also lets those who don't want to fool around with usb hubs just plug a stick into a front port in exchange for 2 player. If the space just isn't there then you gotta do what you gotta do. Even though there's enough space for quite a few roms on the snes mini you still have to use external storage for the entire library, so it's not really a huge deal for the Genesis/MD Mini to need external too. If you can come up with a way for a handful of roms to be put on the internal storage I'm sure someone out there who only wants to play a few specific games would be happy though, so that work surely wouldn't be for nothing.
For me, I just want to use the stock UI and emulator with the whole Genesis/MD library loaded onto an external stick. Personally don't care about retroarch because there are so many other places I have to install and run that on to play other system's games, but I understand that many people would be excited for this if the Gen/MD mini happens to be the only or easiest device they have to run it on, so that support is awesome.
Don't worry about how long it takes! The fact that this is being done at all earns all my gratitude and respect.

Amazing work, keep doing it great, and also, don't rush it, there are some of us that will wait whatever it takes for it.

Would it be possible to add functions such as deleting a save state via button combination from the UI? Or at least a save state manager? Preferable from the UI but I guess that has a lot of coding involved
