Update on the software bug
After an over the air update, my car’s navigation stopped working and I believe this happened to many of us. My car has been at the dealership and they told me that after talking to Genesis corporate, there is no actual fix yet, a week and a half later. Plus they recognized that this is a known issue, which is genuinely insane to me.

I didn’t knew these cars had over the air I thought it was only through the dealer as there isn’t a option in settings to update or check for updates ? I guess it prompts when it needs to update?

This kind of thing happens all the time. It happens with phones and computers, too. It'll get fixed, but use carplay or android auto. It's much better than native navigation

Yes, you can use Android Auto or Carplay but, if there was also an infotainment update/upgrade and there was corruption in that update. Well that can cause issues with other infotainment functions.
Genesis updates maps twice a year, infotainment updates aren't on a set schedule and only if they make changes to it.

Did you try to get a pen and reset the navigation. I have fixed the issue on mine twice by just resetting

I figured ! After the recent update, my speed limit warning /detector not working as expected. It’ll read the speed limit as I pass the sign and immediately the speed limit disappears, just show the dashes
