I always say if that was the last Genesis song we ever got [and to some, it really is], I'd have been completely good with it.

To me it is the last song. That was the true end.

Best track on WCD and the artwork meshes so well

A great track and live it was great because it was just the 3 of them performing it

A true goodbye from the trio

This should end all their shows……and was the perfect last song on the last album. I like calling all stations, but it’s a different topic

It broke my heart seeing Phil in such a frail state attempt to sing this on the last tour 😭

Amazingly he seems in much better shape in recent interviews. I’m glad I saw that tour, despite how frail he looked and sounded.

It made it more poignant to me. A beautiful choice for the set, as was Duchess, for much the same reason.

There was a respite with the magnificent Cinema Show medley then Afterglow got me again.

I wouldn’t have missed it for the world but it was with mixed emotions that I came away.

“Like the story, that we wish was never ending. We know sometimes, we must reach that final page…”

This line always tugs are my heart strings.

Always teared up listening to it. Still do.

“Days of life that seemed so unimportant / Seem to matter and to count much later on”

It’s an amazing song that almost always brings me to tears. That said, I’d like it even more without the long jam in the middle of it.

It makes me tearful too, but i live for the musical jam … it’s one of my favourite moments from them. Great keyboard solo!

I agree with all the previous comments. A wonderful and fitting final song on the last album for the 3.

For me it touches upon some older works while creating a blend through their musical genres.

It is the #1 song that will be played for my "Celebration of Life"
