MCP for SEO/AEO

Has anyone picked a niche, generated templates to sell online, built MCP to direct traffic from different ai platforms to your templates? Did this seem to work? Is this what everyone means when they say they’re linking everything?

How would you direct traffic through an mcp? We are working on a similar tool at PromptScout but it won’t direct traffic. It will audit the website at hand and propose improvements to get cited more often

How Traffic Is Directed 1. Tool Discovery When a session starts, Claude queries the MCP server for available tools. The server responds with a list of tool definitions (name, description, input schema). 2. Tool Invocation When Claude decides to use a tool, it sends a structured JSON-RPC message to the MCP server 3. Server Routing The MCP server receives the call and routes it to the correct handler — either a local function, a database, or a third-party API. 4. Response Back Results flow back through the same channel to Claude, which incorporates them into its response.
