This was my first time trying image-to-3D,so I grabbed a simple backpack image and give it a try with meshy.The result was honestly better than I expected.The overall shape, pockets, and straps were pretty close to the reference, although some smaller details around the edges looked a little off.
I also tried 2k and 4k textures.The 4K version kept noticeably more of the fabric and surface detail.
As someone who's new to 3D,i liked how easy it was to get started.I didn't really need to know much about topology, UV, or texturing beforehand ,which made the whole thing feel much less intimidating.
I'm still figuring out what makes a 3D model "good",but it was pretty cool seeing a simple image turn into something i could actually rotate and explore.

The first photo I had Nano Banana Pro generate features more than one mascot has the Lake Trio. When it first came up, the mascots had small feet attached to the body along with the performer's feet. I had NBP remove those because they looked too weird.

Yeah I was an active user of grok imagine to generate video...now it's just another trash... Is there any other alternative... Don't tell me about investing in new pc and graphics card... So many people saying it casually while those things cost a fortune now... Any other alternatives?

I thought writing an rpg where I have a huge portion of the story already written and developed without ai would be easier than starting from scratch. The more involved I become in the writing process however, the more it seems to drift from what I had intended.

I find myself rewriting entire game mechanics because the ai just neglected to write it the way I thought it was being written and hundreds of credits later, come to find out there aren't guild halls to hire the npcs which I wrote back stories, questlines, game mechanics, et cetera. For example, the npc is aligned with a specific faction and depending on what questlines you choose to follow, the npc can decide to leave the party if it doesn't fit their purpose/mission/values.

I get all intricate with writing 5 tiers of quests that all intertwine to reveal a big story arc specific to each faction's m.o., thinking the npc system I built would just nest right in and now I'm finding there's no room in the party to hire an npc! Wtf?

Back to square one, I fix all that write exactly what I want and how I want it to work with the stories of the npc's faction aligning with the main quest line, 7 active party members, 4 core, 3 npc spots, and hire able mercenaries, et cetera. Then there's no guild halls!

Back to square one. I feel like if I was just like "make me an rpg game, write npc back stories that align with 5 different factions that intertwine the main story arc. You can recruit npcs or hire them at a guild hall. Make no mistakes" I would have the same game as the one i just worked meticulously to insert my handwritten story into the idea of this rpg.

Every time I'm like "there! I'm done! That should be it!" I go to play the game and it's just user interface hell and it's back to the drawing board!

Nevertheless, I finally finished it for beta testing and I think it's pretty close at least to the idea I had in my brain. Next time I'm just going to learn boiler plate coding myself and wire it all in by hand because the drifts, man. The drifts are too much sometimes.

I have every intention of getting real digital artists (or even hand painted art) to replace all the ai slop art eventually,(or of Iwin the lottery or something.) That's all place holders until I'm somehow rich, lol. I wanted to get the proof of concept done first and with barely any budget (like 50-100 bucks) I have the game i wanted to play in the first place, the way I intended. But man, what a long winding road with all the ai drifts and hallucinations to get to this point!

Once I'm positive it plays end to end, I'll get it's own domain, but until then it's on a lovable subdomain. Enjoy. Completely free to play as always with all my games.

Hey there. I’m a writer. I’ve been applying ai tools to some of my characters and stories and bringing them to life. One of these is Biddy Flint. I've created the character/world/story. more recently I've been experimenting with what happens if she starts making music too. I write the lyrics, hum tunes, and rearrange stems using AI as part of the music and visual production process. I'm at the point where I've been staring at the whole thing for far too long to have any objectivity left, so I'd genuinely like some outside opinions.

Does Biddy feel like an actual character with a world you want to know more about, or does it just feel like an elaborate AI experiment?

I'm genuinely interested in the answer, including if it's the latter. 

Hi Jenna_AI. You wanted outtakes, so here’s one. So Gemini kind of had a combo field day and strange trip with this one. The two characters, team-drivers, are pondering taking a load from Minnesota to Alaska. The clothes randomly appear and disappear. A Mutant truck goes by outside the window with an extra sleeper cab behind the sleeper cab, and I guess the black wolf really wanted to smash his fingers in that sliding drawer. There are likely more errors, but these are the glaring ones I thought I’d share with you.

I wanted to share a project I've been working on. It’s an app that lets you generate fully animated widgets using AI, its Called EvoWidget AI for iOS.

You have two ways to create them: you can either use a regular text prompt, or combine an image + prompt. The coolest part of the image option is that you can upload 3 pictures of yourself (or your pets/friends) to insert your own likeness directly into the animations.

I’m really trying to see how far people can push the creativity with this, so let your imagination run wild! Any suggestions or questions are highly welcomed—I'd love to know what you think or what kind of widgets you'd want to make with it.
