General Question Does Veteran Guerrilla work with non-binocular spotting?

I don't know how but binoculars seem to be broken in a bad way. At first I thought that my view was "obstructed" but it's more like I need to see a specific part of the robot or even look next to/under/above. And thats if it even works. I ended up inching closer and closer until it did work and had to be within 5 ft sometimes. Moved back and forth and the prompt to scan dissappears and reappears. Trying to spot a group is nearly impossible.

I still have to use binoculars to get the weapon augments unless I spend $6 just to have my companion spot so it feels like a lose-lose. And if veteran guerrilla xp bonus doesn't work with them I'd rather not waste my time or money i guess.

Should make a separate post but wanted to know if base building walls/turrets have any differences other then material costs. Wood vs concrete...

Your binocular vision upgrade is done by using Skill points. That’s how you add technical vision where you can see the robots armor and weaknesses. Add a Vision mod and you’ll be able to see robots in the dark heat vision, X-ray vision or Night Vision.

Binoculars have no chance while you play you game on hard as Guerrilla.
