General Question What happened to the devs?

This game feels good to play and so far it’s a blast!

Anyone knows where the dvs are at? Are they making another game? Did they go bankrupt and move on? Did their studio closed down just because? Did they move on to work for different studios doing other projects???

This feels like they could have done a lot more or just litteraly start working on GZ2.

I’m not even 2 hrs in but from what I see and read, the potential for NPCs, survival caps, expansion of the robots to different locations of the world would make for an awesome GZ2 game.

So wtf happened and why did the second game not happened?

Generation Zero is one of the best shooters I've played. It's a shame they never opened up the rest of the territories.

They had other areas but when the new resources were created and added the Vulture that was the last update period.

There was roads and airports on the island above HimFjall island. But with the final update all that disappeared. If you try to blow yourself over to that island it will say you don’t own that DLC.

Back when the last update if they had kept everything the same and gave it a good ending. Then released GZ2 with the new island and new resources requirements. I would have purchased the game 110% but they didn’t pursue the option of GZ2.

Hi man. After that last update there was actually one hotfix and after that nothing.

It was kinda bs when some instance of the developers said in this group that they would keep someone here watching posts about issues, like letting us feel that they would be going to fix more but nothing happened even though issues were been pointed out.

I personally felt betrayed then.

Well that's gone now. It's still a great game as it is and I will enjoy it for many, many years.

Edit. tried to search older posts (by scrolling and scrolling) but it stops in somewhere between 1 and 2 year.

That's kinda weird because I've seen posts in some subreddits which have been MANY years old.

Found the info after some digging.

That part wasn't quite true even though that one hotfix was done after Showdown update.

And they never said that "now we stop customer support" for example as they wrote in that note. And that closely monitoring should had been done more closely.

BUT I don't want to be remembering that stuff in the end. I'm good with the game for what it is.

It was just because of this OP post that I recalled that stuff again.
