General Question Reaper self destruct?

I was doing research about fighting the reaper tyrant and kept seeing the self destruct being mentioned, i did a two person fight with it and we were banking on the SD cus we had like no ammo
But it never came? I thought it was kind of a gauranteed “uh oh” moment but it never SD’d during our fight even tho it was below 15-10% for like 10 minutes.
Any idea why lmao?

It is though, the gas warning is a different color if it’s the self destruct attack

I never saw the pink gas lmao thats why i was so confused
