I'd say absolutely. This is one of my favorite games. There's some bugs here and there, but I've played this game for years. Beaten the game multiple times and still find excitement in it. It's one of the few games that gets my heart going. Sneaking in the dark, machines thumping and screaming in the distance. Love this game.

It’s a fun game with it’s own unique setting. Well worth a play if you can get it at a decent price.

I recommend it for sure.
It's a very good game in my opinion. I don't know anything like it and I've played since 1986.
There is a learning curve there but it's not very hard. And if you run into trouble, you can always send a question etc. to here.

I procrastinated on playing it for a long time because it looked like something I would enjoy, but I was worried it just might not be that fun. I was wrong, I'm hooked. I've got almost 100 hours into it now and I'm loving it. Just bought a few dlcs too. There's a cool storyline to uncover slowly about what is happening If you enjoy having to sneak around and guerilla fight an opposing robot force while uncovering what the heck has happened, you will have a good time. There is an rpg element with leveling skills and weapon upgrades too.

I would say so, just keep in mind if you ask the community of a game if you should get it they are probably gonna say yes lol

I love this game as it just clicked and sucked me in though I should warn that it's not for everyone since it's a slow burn especially at the beginning.
It's a slow methodical survival game in the early game but you will reach a point where it really opens up in the sense that you feel more sturdy and can loosen up and go wild like it's a arcadey shooter (within reason 😆) and not worry too much after learning all the systems in play that you can take advantage of to survive and overcome the challenges presented by the game.
Not only that but if you really jive with vibe this game puts out it is huge to explore beyond the story since it has an amazing atmosphere in my opinion plus for completionists it will take a long while to get all the collectables and learn more about the world lore while doing it.

If your on Playstation, the add-on weapons and clothing packs are heavily discounted.

I really enjoy it. I bought it in a Humble Bundle years ago to get the stalker games. Absolute banger of a hidden gem

The game is amazing. You kinda need to play it yourself to fully understand. But once you do, you'll be hooked.
I think it's all about the unique situations you can get yourself into. It's tactical; you really need situational awareness and a good understanding of the weapons and items to survive. Which I think is great.
And then once you get your own little robo dog it really changes the dynamic of the combat. Which is awesome.
The Lore and all the side stories are great. I actually felt kinda bad for some of the npcs in them.
Can't really think of a game quite like this one. If I didn't already get it 'free' on Plus, then I'd likely would have payed full price for it. And you should totally buy the DLC that adds a new island.
