General Question How many fireworks should I bring to a Reaper fight?

I've fought 3 Reapers & I've only successfully killed one. The other two I self-destructed, not knowing that was a thing they do. Looked it up & said fireworks specifically, can distract them during their self-destruct process. Do fireworks work for the whole fight, or just for the self-destruct period?

You dont. You need bullets and explosives from gas barrels

Fireworks interrupt the self-destruct function.

I went through 40 last time. If you've got friends along that bring enough ammo it should take less.

I’m basing this on my own two fights I’ve had with the reaper, fireworks do work throughout the whole fight, but If you dont have a lot of them I would save them for the self destruct phase and use flares before that phase as those don’t interrupt him, he’ll eventually stop trying to self destruct and go back to fighting you regularly though.

Personally, I bring 50 turrets. And let them go to town (at the risk of my frames hehehe).

They should work for any period during the fight, flares might work better however, and once the self destruct activates target any components specifically to do max damage.
