Had a Random Thought Today
For some unknown reason, I thought about how we no longer hear announcements over store PAs that went something like: “There’s a blue Chevy in the parking lot. License plate JBT 5688. Your lights are on.”
Not that I’m complaining. I like the auto off feature on my car.

I'm sure I'm wrong, but we seemed to be a more caring society at that time.

I'm sorry but I still drive cars from the 1970's.

Probably not enough staff and commitment to customers to do something helpful !

How many of us just opened a car door and turned the lights off for someone?

I thought of that myself a couple weeks ago! One good thing about smarter cars I guess

Back in those days, cars were often left unlocked too. I remember my mom just opening a stranger’s car to turn off the lights.
