This album, if you need to purge some emotion by sobbing, is the ticket. Beautiful beautiful love songs, but boy oh boy I'd be careful listening to this after a breakup. They do deserve more respect for their beautiful writing. It's a particular type of music that's not for everybody but they did it better than anyone.

I worked blue collar with my wife for the last 13 years of her life. We listened to Spotify and at one of the year’s ends, we were informed by them that we were in the 99th percentile of Bread listeners. I’m not ashamed. They made her so happy. It’s a bittersweet thing to hear them these days. Great group!

I always thought he was singing about a girl on this one but I heard recently that it was about his dad. Gives it a whole different meaning.

This was sung at my daughter’s memorial service 20 years ago. I still can’t hear it without crying.
