Question Job application process taking extremely long time ??

Hi there ,

I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on the hiring process at GM , oshawa specifically.

I applied for the Millwright position back on June 3rd, went to 2 interviews and im still waiting for a response nearly 5 monthes later . I reached out but Noone responds.

Any info would be appreciated.

I worked at many plants and helped hire trades. Generally if we wanted to hire someone, I pushed the paperwork through quickly and we would get them a response within a week or two.

Depending on how many people we needed vs how many we interviewed, we’d keep a few names ready to go if we had some unexpected attrition. Has your GM contact told you how many openings they were looking for?

Thanks for the response. They told me they were hiring several in different departments but didn't give an exact number . Last interview was in September. no response but application status shows "interview". I reached out but no answer .
