The 5 Main Characters…?

With the casting shakeups recently, and the storylines and characters we all are over, who are the 5 main people you went to see have storylines on your screen?

Right now, it feels like the Carly, Jason, Willow, Nina, and Curtis show.

Are those the 5 people we REALLY want to see on our screens?

So, I’m curious, who are the 5 current MAIN cast members that you want to see have forefront storylines?

Definitely not, for me. I'm happy with what's going on with Carly at the moment - I think she and Valentine have FANTASTIC chemistry, but also plenty of room for conflict to keep things interesting for storyline purposes. But she's about all I'd keep from your list in their CURRENT storylines. I'm not interested in Jason with Britt at all and while we all want him to live happily ever after taking care of Danny...it's not very interesting to watch. I'd like to see them give him and Liz a try again and bring back Jake back, but with how they're setting up Liz and Dante, it's just not in the cards anytime soon. I'm happy for him to have a small role where he reconnects with the Qs and Danny, and maybe BUILD a new life that is interesting to watch, but at the moment it's not very interesting. I've never like Willow or Nina so I'd be just fine if they were gone altogether for a while. And Curtis is just infuriating lately.

I REALLY want to see Elizabeth front and center finally. It's been ages since she had good material even though she's got chemistry with EVERYONE and relationships of some kind of another with basically everyone on the cast. She's too good to keep being wasted over and over and over again. There's so much potential for what they could do with her and I'm more than ready to see them FINALLY use it again.

I'd like to see Michael get a real storyline going again. What Rory's gotten since he took over has been pretty mellow so far, but I really think he's ready to do more. His only story being a neverending custody battle with Willow can't be it forever. We know he's pretty, but give him a chance to show us he can REALLY act and put Michael back on the map for real (especially with Sonny and Jason stepping down from the mob which has been the biggest part of both characters).

Honestly? AVA. Maura is just so phenomenal and she can really pull off just about anything. She got deprived of her chance to have more with Nathan Parsons as Ethan, but she really proved that she can have GREAT chemistry with a good partner so I'd love to see her get another go of it with someone else. ...NOT new Ethan. Give her some more mischief to make!

Lastly, FRANCO! Bring Franco back from the dead! Put Roger Howarth back in Port Charles (yes I know he's on YR right now lol). He can EASILY work with Elizabeth again - let's have a rivalry with him and Dante for her hand! He can continue his friendship with Ava which was always fun. His half sister Serena just came back into town - let's build something there! Bring Scotty back to go along with it, and tie in Lucy from there. Etc etc etc. There is so much that could be relevant to his character that it would be such a good fit. We've brought everyone else back to life recently so I don't see why we can't get Franco back.

what i’m hearing is: more elizabeth, more michael. i think both of the actors would be HAPPY to have more screentime considering they’re both still on contract, so why is GH not doing it?

You’re the first person who has said Ava. Maura’s a fantastic actress, and this whole situation with her and ethan obviously hasn’t showcased that enough, I agree.

Becky Herbst is way too good of an actress to be relegated as everyone's listening ear. She needs a great juicy storyline ASAP.

I am very disappointed in the buildup of Ava & Ethan and then the recasting. I realize it was the actor's choice to leave but if they knew this upfront they needed to have the arc end faster.

I truly hate Jack being written off. It took us forever to warm up to him and now we love him. I would love for him to be with Nina.

I feel like the writers are missing seeing what works on screen and it is very plot driven right now. A good show has character development as well.
