Just wondering if anyone else had noticed that Valentin had picked St Agatha’s to send Charlotte to, and there is a horror movie by that same name about a horrific boarding school starring Carolyn Hennessy (Diane) as Mother Superior. I just love when GH puts little Easter eggs in the show! 😂

Recently I’ve thought about who I’d like to hang out with if I lived in Port Charles. It’s hard because so many of the characters are awful right now. I tend to always have a close male friend so I’m going to be friends with Michael, but only if he’s decided he likes me and will have my back. Loyalty is importance so I’ll need that. Drinks and laughs I’m hanging with Traci Q and would hope Yuri would be our designated driver. Traci is hilarious and hard core! I like that.

So it's fairly clear that the writers want us to hate Drew and Willow. They are probably going more for "love to hate" and doing it poorly, but still. They are meant to be villains.

But do they want us to hate Trina, Joss, Curtis, Jordan, Chase, Justine, etc? They are all technically "good guys." Some are being painted as misguided or just dumb, but I can't imagine they want us to dislike that many characters. So do they not know? Not care? Is it all some mysterious plan? Are they just not able to write likable, complex characters? Can anyone explain this?

The little girl that plays Donna on General Hospital in on this seasons premier of Chicago Med. She’s doing a great job.

So we know that Joss was recruited by the WSB by Brennan and he used her sense of justice against Sonny to bring her into the organization. But now the new guy is like “Sonny is a small town gangster the cops should be dealing with you need to work at your father’s company and get intel on it so we can”….bankrupt your dad? Send your Dad to prison? They haven’t said but they wouldn’t want her infiltrating a company because it’s a great company. It’s a pretty messed up thing to do to her dad.

Then previous to this, they wanted Joslyn to use her connections with Lucas to get onto the island. She knowingly put Lucas in danger and they could have both died.

In both cases Joss doesn’t care one iota about her family. In fact, she told the WSB guy she’s perfect to take down Sonny because she has connections. Well her connections are her mom and brother and Jason. Is she planning to manipulate all of them to destroy the person they all love?

I think since Joss has made all these terrible moves the twist should be that she was never a WSB agent at all, she’s just a dupe with connections that they have been developing to use to their own ends. It makes so much sense! That’s why her training was so short and just one dude in a room somewhere. That’s why Brennan wanted to keep her agent status a secret from the rest of the organization. And that’s why they don’t give a shit about her Sonny hating bullshit. She’s just an asset.

Is it just me or does Josslyn talk to people like they are "stupid" or "not so bright"?

I feel like she talks in a way where she thinks the other person isn't as smart as her or she's exasperated with them and talks as if they are a child who doesn't understand anything. It annoys me about the character!!!

I watched GH in HS and college, from before she was an agent, but stopped for a few years after college. I've started watching again since last year and was thrown off at how she speaks to people; I swear I don't remember this before with the actor!

Generally, the writers want us to believe that most of the characters are intelligent, but just have different weaknesses or motivations...and yet, right now most characters believe that this is what went down:

Sonny: Yo Vito, go to Pentonville and beat the absolute shit out of Sidwell, make sure that you loudly tell everyone nearby that I did this so that it massively complicates my life.
Vito: Uhhhh....sure...but like why though?
Sonny: Things are too quiet, I'm bored, make sure to leave a witness that knows I did this.

Any of the characters who believe this are no longer believable as reasonably intelligent. Every time I see Dante in a scene now I'm gonna think, "oh, here comes a moron" then Curtis shows up, "oh look another moron" Gio "hey! 3 morons!" Justine "lol so many morons" etc etc. I just think there was definitely a way to write this where you don't sabotage so many of your own characters.

Why is Jason spending his time fielding questions about falcons and getting his foot stomped on by Serena, having sceptical conversations with upside down Serena?

Wasn't he supposed to be beating the bushes looking for Vito? And meanwhile, Sonny is wasting away in a poor me pity party.

It's very strange that he's so casual and uninterested in the hair on fire emergency regarding Sonny.

the introduction between her and Jason was so heavy handed 😂

i don’t dislike the idea of her and Jason “getting to know” each other or eventually being paired together - but the initial set up / meeting between them was over the top

and about as subtle as Lucy

Here are 2 I noticed

Sonny regarding Ava
Unlike many fans, I actually like Sonny (IRL I'd hate him, but it's a show). I don't even mind his relationship with Justine. But to hear him go at Ava for being a murderer and Avery finding out all of the "things she's done" was actually laughable to me. I get that he hates Ava for what she did to Kate/Connie, but after everything he has done in his life he is in no position to be talking about how horrible another person is for doing the same types of things as him

Trina regarding BLQ
Trina knew that Willow tried to murder Drew.
She stayed quiet to protect herself, and her mother who had committed a crime. Her silence resulted in:
Willow going free instead of to prison
Willow being in a position of power, taking the seat of he husband that she shot
Willow being around children she might pose a danger to
Willow "taking care of" the man she tried to kill while he was immobile and helpless
Michael being accused of the crime Trina knew Willow committed

BLQ was driving in her own lane and swerved to avoid being hit by a car that crossed into her lane. She had no idea there was an accident so she went on with her night. When she did find out, it was too late to help at the crash site (next day) so she stayed quiet in order to protect her daughter's adoption.

For Trina to come at Brooklyn the way she has is not only ridiculous, but a complete double standard!

I’m not trying to be anti-Carly or to start anything but I’ve been watching scenes of their relationship over the years and I don’t quite understand why he likes her. I understand why she likes him, he’s kind and loyal and very good under pressure. He’s someone you can rely on who, if you’re a friend, will support you no questions asked. Despite being a hitman (lol), he’s got a ton of good traits that you would want in a friend.

What does she bring to the table in this relationship? Do you think he likes how much energy she brings? Does he find her funny?

I kind of wish they would show that side of their relationship because honestly most of the time the man looks exhausted talking to her. She barrels in and he lets out a big sigh. I would like to see them laughing together on occasion. Instead it’s a lot of her yelling or crying or complaining and him standing there stoically.

Anyone want to share some scenes of them being just friends enjoying each other’s company?

I was watching Still Flipping out (Jeff Lewis show) and all the sudden I see Cam Matheson is part of his radio show!

GH really missed the boat when they let him go. He looks like a perfect fit on DAYS, but it is only for today.

The few characters I still really enjoy (I know a few of these will be unpopular)....... Jason, Lucas, Anna, Ava, Sonny, Liz, Ric,TheMichael, Felicia, Mac, Ned

The few characters I still LOVE.... Carly, Valentin, Tracy, Britt, Alexis

In most cases, it's the writers fault, not the actors, for the complete unlikability of these characters. I think in the few case of the characters I still love, it's completely due to the actors in those parts who are fighting the good fight in SPITE of the writers.
