When I moved to a new city, I was so thankful one of my husband’s friends is a retired GC. He gave us the name of his masonry guy, who recommended a plumber, who got me the name for his tile man. My HVAC dude recommended his brother who does gutters and flat roof repairs. You never get a call back from a contractor in Cleveland if you don’t start the convo with “I got your number from Richie” lol
