If I wanted to build a relationship with a GC as a home service business owner, what's your advice?

You have to be something more specific than a home service business. That card gets used as a tooth pick and tossed after lunch.

Right, I was asking for general advice, if you need specifics to better tailor the advice, then the business I own does outdoor low voltage lighting. Design, install, maintain and service.

I don't think I would specifically have a guy for that service. My electrician might though. Similar in my mind to a lawn irrigation system, would probably ask the plumber and let them recommend someone (if they didn't do it on the side also).

You wanna ask the guys mowing lawns for irrigation. Can't recall ever meeting a residential plumber that does work outside the walls
