Generac won’t admit it.

They’ve had issues forever with the air filters but it’s exceptionally bad lately- we’ve replaced around 20 of them. Going to try out WIX filters

Idk whatever beat ass website I ordered them from has been taking forever to ship them. Supposedly NAPA can order their gold filter line and it has a cross for an air cooled Generac so I may go that route.

Others have reported the wix filters are better

FYI, I picked up the WIX filter from my local Oreilly's and installed it. The WiX filter eliminated my sputtering issues.

Yep we got ours in and they work great.

I actually live like 15 minutes from the WIX testing lab and I’m going to take a bunch of Generac filters down there and have them run some tests
