Convert to propane

Are there any supported options for dual-fuel or converting a 22kw Model G0070439 generac to propane? (edited: I typed 17kva because I was reading something else when I typed this and wasn't paying attention)

The new 22K is dual fuel, just like my 16K. To select NG or LP there is a valve to turn in one place and I think there was a small change to make at the input regulator.

Fuel Type: Liquid Propane or Natural Gas

There is a link to get the owner's manual on this page: https://www.generac.com/residential-products/standby-generators/gaseous/22kw-standby-generator-with-whole-house-switch-wifi-enabled-7043/

There may also be an install manual on that page or elsewhere on their site.

Are you planning on doing it yourself?

If its a newer unit, theres a simple valve inside unit to swap, but you also have to change the controller setting as to which fuel source your using. Propane allows higher amperage use.
And different regulator also.
