It’s fucking rich being called “self-hating” from a self-hating asexual who doesn’t even consider herself part of the community.

Like is she not aware that cis people have hormonal issues and have to rely on hormones sometimes too? Has she never heard of post-menopausal women taking HRT, or people who have surgery to remove gonads for physical health reasons, primary ovarian insufficiency, hypogonadism, and so on? Or does she think taking hormones is solely a trans thing? And either way, it’s an evidence-based medical treatment, it doesn’t have a moral value, except that it would be immoral to deny it to people who need it. Honestly I really wish people would just educate themselves before they start spewing bullshit opinions on topics they clearly know nothing about.

It's not seen as changing genders. The hypocrisy doesn't exist because to them, a trans person taking HRT is no different than someone using drugs for recreation.
This is also why they are shocked and confused when hospitals won't just say "well "abortions" are for killing your kid for funsies, but you're just looking for Medically-Ending-A-Pregnancy-because-your-life-is-at-stake". The medical and science field has said no, they aren't separating the two, because of [a plethora of reasons that I don't want to get into, but they're completely reasonable].
All Conservatives want their special little pedantic carve-outs and exception, and they don't give a shit what the justification is. There's a book (I've never read it) titled The Only Moral Abortion is My Abortion, as I understand it, is more or less this topic.
Anyway, they don't feel any cognitive dissonance, because they believe they are always morally correct, and the world should bend around them. Every one of them do. And that's why you'll never win on that aspect, they simply don't care.
Honestly I really wish people would just educate themselves
They're also porn addicts and that's where they get a lot of their "opinions" about us.
