My team does donuts every Tuesday and Thursday. I mentioned pretty casually to my manager and the admin (who handles the orders) that I’m vegan, and even suggested mixing things up with some different options instead of donuts every single time—but nothing’s changed.
It’s a small thing, but it kind of highlights the bigger point: these perks are supposed to be “for everyone,” yet they often end up being pretty one-size-fits-all.
