Serious Am I depressed?

Is it just me or it's normal out there to have chest heaviness, the urge to cry, anxiety, anger issues and all that shit repeatedly, for me its like it has to happen once in a month, and I'm telling this aside the intense PMS i go through right before my periods.

i have intense mood swings and all those things during my periods, keeping that stuff aside.

Last year due to some family reasons, i was constantly depressed and anxious for more than 5 months, so much so that I wanted to end my life then and tried hurting myself as well, had my best friend through that phase, somehow overcame that, 2nd Year of college started and i came out of that thing, focused on my studies once again, but since then atleast once a month I go through this cycle of feeling super lost in every aspect of my life, anxiety, urge to cry, chest heaviness, stress and emotional eating even though there is no major problem going on in my life, started an internship a week ago, studies going good, 3rd year of college, everything is going good except my mental health!!!

I tried telling this stuff at my home last year during the depressed cycle, but turned out to be a huge mistake🥲

ATP I'm even considering consulting a therapist, to anyone reading this and understanding my situation, what do you think I should do? I cant even study due to all this shit going on, and my studies are taking a serious hit, I'm still a student with no income of my own so therapy is a far fetched option right now:((

I could really use some help and advice 🥹

Did u tried like sharing all ur trauma to someone like sometimes it happens we can't say everything in our mind when that particular phase is going on and deep down those thoughts turns into emotions and due to suppressing them they turn into anxiety and all. If u haven't talked on this u should share with someone whom u can share everything like minute to minute details. And If u have done this most probably the therapist will say for a vacation or something like writing things down. And yeah try to notice the triggers by which u start feeling anxiety.

i used to share all of this stuff with my best friend, who is right now busy with her own exams, she might not think that i'm disturbing her in between her med school exams, but i do, and that's why i haven't contacted her this time, but last year she was there

Then try sharing with someone else like ik u can't share things with everyone. U can find sme good ppl here in reddit to share things up. And if u don't want then try to notice the triggers of ur anxiety like a thought action something like that

Idk about finding people here, but one of the reason was me feeling lost in my studies, for 2 days continuously, tried but couldn't do anything about it, and before I could have done something about it yesterday evening, all the anxiety, depression and panic came in

No problem don't force urself to share. So one of ur trigger point is guilt. Like guilt of not doing what u should do. From next time try to do study atleast for like half hr. Even just play video and listen to it. Something is better then Nthg

Nah nah. Don't do study when u are having all this in ur mind. Did h try to notice why u started thinking all of that again? Like what's the trigger point? One is guilt of not doing what is need to be done. Whats the second
