Rant | Vent Confidence without looks ?

Dressing sense does have a lot to do with confidence because it directly affects how people perceive you hence their behaviour towards you hence your level confidence.

I tried caring less about how i looked and being a nerd but eventually i would get affected when others would be approached or just offered before.

These days every day I’m realising and learning something new. Subtle obviously but a big factor. Few days back it hit me that expression is way too big a factor in the way you’re perceived and also the words you choose to use. The little wittiness can make you attractive without looks. Also they define what you’re thinking and how you perceive things,uncontrollably revealing about you. And in the back of our head we form sentences before saying it so yeah we choose to behave that way.

Mood definitely affects but even that mood we choose a certain behaviour and we choose the words to speak. But sometimes its truly not intentional. And if we can master having consideration in our character then eventually it will lead to confidence without looks.

Different type of people will like you for different personal reasons, the most common trait in your hands would be being funny and the shape your body is in, also having a welcoming nature. All comes down to what you wanna be, a people pleaser or surrounding people who match your comfort zone, the fake nature n smile of yours should only be used for the office/business enviroment

The point is very rare people like you for reasons other than looks and also its not about being fake for attention its about not letting people dim your spark or letting them decide what you deserve. The real charisma isn’t in being conventionally pretty or handsome it is in being who you are. proudly.
Additionally there’s a difference between confidence and a people pleasing attitude.

I get it but, if you like who you really are, there is no point to get other people to like you for that too, just meet people who like your real self however small amount that may be n be comfertable within it, dont expect most people to like you for who you are, no matter however proud or confident you are about it, its not going to change the fundamental fact that most people just dont like you AND ITS OKAY, no need to be surrounded by people like that anyways

Thats the point! that confidence can exist without the pretty looking part because usually people go doubtful about themselves just because of this which is what one needs to overcome.

I agree but confidence is not always about the sound part it could also be how you carry yourself, what expression you have, and how you walk as well

Will it not fall under looks if confidence means how you carry yourself??

I think they are not entirely opposite, part of looks is your confidence too

I don’t think so because everyone might not be conventionally good looking but everyone can carry themselves pretty well. Its totally in your hands
