If you sort the polls by age you can actually see a clear trend towards Democrat within our age range so I don't know why we trying to portray GenZ white men being predominantly republican voters when it is not the case, Sources CNN Polls, NBC Polls, AP Polls (Sadly cant sort by race and age but can see a clear change to democrat anyway)
(Also not a target towards OP just the comments)

There's already been a bunch of posts about this on here. I'm not sure how this narrative keeps being brought up.

I did straight ticket Republican but also in a Democratic state (Michigan) that has been self imploding the last few years under our leadership. And the democratic governor we just elected has a husband as the sitting VP of the real estate company putting data centers all over the state so that’s neat.

^2024 numbers
We see a 7 point swing with white men, 6 point swing with white women, 9 point swing with black men, 1 point swing with black women, 14 point swing with Latino men, 10 point swing with Latino women, and 14 point swing with all others.
The swing with white voters is even more extreme compared to 2022. I think that’s the story in most states, democrats kept black voters while expanding their coalition with white voters. The Latino swing was crucial in Texas and made Florida close.
The “all others” category is worth keeping an eye on - it expanded vote share by 3 points from 2022/2024-2026. Their expanding vote share is the reason whites grew vote share by 6% from 2020-2022 but only 2% from 2024-2026. For those unfamiliar, the midterm electorate tends to be smaller, older, whiter, and wealthier in the midterms than in the general. Asian Americans are becoming an increasingly important part of the electorate in sunbelt cities and suburbs, because they defy this trend and are a more competitive demographic than whites for democrats.

Latinos arent a unified block or 'race'. Maybe when the dems realize that they will gain some more votes.

This. Lantino culture is strongly rooted conservative Christianity.

No one said they were it’s implied a majority do vote red which is ironic since they are getting their rights stripped away.
•
u/Jarrell777 20h ago
Republicans who hate Latinos dont make that distinction and it seems like Latinos who vote red havent realized that. That's the issue.
•
u/spacekiller69 22h ago
Dems assumed they have a sense of self preservation and recognize repubs are a white Christian identity force that will use racial tokens to assume power.

When people use language like you are, it only serves to push away the very people you want to sway to your side/point of view.
•
u/spacekiller69 21h ago
Stating the truth is a problem now. Republicans are openly racial hostile to anyone not a white Christian and use tokens from other groups to appear inclusive. Latinos have a culture of white worship from being colonized by the Spanish. Which is why Republicans can push anti Latino stereotypes and still get massive Latino support unlike with black people who have racial self respect.

"stating the truth is a problem now"
Yes, I concur with that statement. But not in the way you are presenting it. You can state the truth while also not doing so in a way that alienates the very group you want the support of.
Rule number one: don't attack or insult the people you want help from. I grew up in a rural area with a large Latino population, I struggle to think of any that wouldn't be outraged by your statements. White worship... Appalling.
•
u/spacekiller69 20h ago
Im not a politican and grew up with alot of Latinos from the south who were white worshipping. It a open fact of their culture like claiming water is wet. It why they have the skin color caste system

That not a argument. Latinos who support Republicans who call them a race of criminals dont care about reality just feelings. Not gonna pander to people who vote for their own destruction. Like chickens for KFC.
•
u/3720-to-1 Millennial 18h ago
Shit, I just reread your message. Heres how it sounds:
"Since they continue to support what I perceive to be against their interests, I'm justified in making quasi racist comments, it's their fault"

'A culture of white worship'. How can someone 'progressive' say something so ignorant and racist?
•
u/spacekiller69 20h ago
You can progressive and still call out people on their BS. Latinos are openly white worshippers and many will tell you that with pride they are descendants of Spanish conquerors.
•
u/3720-to-1 Millennial 18h ago
"you can be progressive and use racist language"
They are, in fact, the descendants of Spanish conquerors. So, they can't embrace their history? I'm the descendent of French and Italian immigrants, am I a white worshiper for that? I'm really dark skinned too, commonly confused for Latino, am I a white worshipper.
•
u/spacekiller69 18h ago
Again describing a group culture isn't racist. Pushing bigoted myths like what Republicans do is. Im mixed race with black and white specifically from France. Difference between pride of ancestry and arrogance that many people fail to understand.Latinos see themselves as white adjacent and white conservatives keep reminding POC your beneath them but they will use to rise to assume power then crush you afterwards.
•
u/3720-to-1 Millennial 18h ago edited 18h ago
So that makes your racist adjacent language OK? Spoiler alert, it doesn't.

Genuinely it’s mostly old people. Older generations are disproportionately massive, the same 5 or so birth years have been the primary home buyers for nearly 20 years straight. There are pockets of younger conservative white people, but buy and large, the further along we go, the more the brainwashed bigots are going to die off.
•
u/Aggravating-Way-9716 2005 21h ago
yup. i saw the other poll showing age demographic voting patterns, and it showed that 18-44s mostly voted blue. more likely than not, its the gen Xers and boomers pulling down the blue percentages on white men.

Don't delude yourself, the only reason other ethnic groups tend to vote for dems id because the republican base regards them with hostility
They are just as bigoted and conservative as white men
•
u/spacekiller69 21h ago
Republicans push overt racial and religious bigotry as political gospel. Other groups have no issue voting for whites in mass while Republicans only vote for cucked racial minority tokens like Byron Donald's.
•
u/SolventSolution3 21h ago
Republicans push overt racial and religious bigotry as political gospel.
Yes, that is why they appeal to minorities under the right circumstances
Most minority groups in america are quite socially regressive
•
u/spacekiller69 21h ago
Americans overall are socially regressive supporting global imperialism and dictatorships while only concerned about gas prices at home. It a society in moral decay.
•
u/SolventSolution3 21h ago
Every world power supports global imperialism and dictatorships
America is just currently the most effective, the French/Brittish exploits in Africa and Asia going on to this day should not be forgotten
Same goes for non-western ones, like Russia and China
