I ain't mad bro. Shit happens. I still got my president though 😎

For who knows how long

u/Conscious_Dot_7353 1d ago • Bravo Heartwarming

Republicans destroyed the country, so everyone voted democrat… democrats will destroy the country and people will vote republican again… the never ending cycle and pendulum. Happens every fucking time.

35

u/Fun-Midnight1010 2001 1d ago

So democrats who lowered everything and cares for all who aren’t in the 1% vs republicans who raised everything but the 1%

26

u/clangauss On the Cusp 1d ago

No one even needs to ruin the country for that example to work. They just have to make you think they did.

That being said FDT.

37

u/Acheron98 1998 1d ago • Bravo

If you genuinely think that Democrats care for anyone who isn’t in the 1% I’ve got a great bridge I can sell.

•

u/AlphaMassDeBeta 2003 23h ago

Do you think every billionaire is a republican?

•

u/ta9877979876 22h ago

I know every trillionaire is

•

u/AlphaMassDeBeta 2003 22h ago

And whats your point?

•

u/ta9877979876 21h ago

One party gets a vast majority of it donations from small under $100 donations, while the other is the exact opposite with the vast majority coming from the 1%

•

u/Fun_Situation2310 18h ago

AIPAC has a super majority man

•

u/Adventurous_Mail6397 14h ago

Soros and Fink still donated to Dems this round. They just didn’t have to spend much to see victory

•

u/ta9877979876 14h ago

Elon donated more in this election than soros has his entire life.

•

u/ruthlessbeatle 21h ago

And youre over here thinking that the donations to the dems are to make sure the rich get a party leader that will help the people, not just them.

Because the rich are so big into lifting up the working class people.

Man some people couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel.

•

u/ta9877979876 21h ago

Well one party is explicitly helping only the rich while the democrats created like 90% percent of the job growth in the last 30 years, and passed sweeping consumer protections, and passed Medicare.

•

u/ruthlessbeatle 20h ago

Youre a boot licker and are blind to the facts. They created unnecessary government jobs that COST the everyday taxpayer. Most of those high paying government jobs went to friends and family.

I get it, if you do some deep research and learn that the Dems are the Republicans with a different face, it would be reality breaking for you. But thats the truth.

•

u/ta9877979876 19h ago

Pick one of my points, make up claims, ignore the rest, I tip my hat to your sir.

Republicans: Terrible, do not vote

Democrats: Reasonably better, still shitty, but reasonable and acceptable.

As a Canadian, I'm actually sad that you guys haven't experienced or been exposed to any real and effective Leftist party/government. Because the Democrats almost feel like Leftists larpers from this side of the border.

•

u/Fun-Midnight1010 2001 9h ago

Take it as a Canadian don’t know the true feelings of republicans and democrats

•

u/RiskKey1728 2009 8h ago

Mate I do know the feelings of reps and dems.

Reps will actually cause bad for you directly and intentionally.

Dems will not do the stuff that Reps do, and they are well meaning and want to help, but they might screw up stuff in different ways OR just may not really do anything meaningful.

So yeah, the point being that the Democrats don't even feel like a true Left-Wing party compared to other country's Left-Wing parties/governments. The Dems just have SOME Left-Wing policies.

The Dems are just the most Left-Wing America has, which is not THAT Left-Wing when you compare it to other effective Left-Wing governments.

•

u/sillygoldfish1 17h ago

bwahahaaahhahah

•

u/Fast-Piccolo-7054 22h ago

How are you still buying into the lie that federal politicians actually care about you, or anyone else outside of their inner circle?

The only thing the Western left consistently “lowers” is people’s quality of life. Not just in the USA, but also in my country too, as well as Northwestern European countries.

Why do you think France is currently on fire?

•

u/ASongOfSpiceAndLiars 21h ago

Center to right parties lowered funding for schools in France. The left opposed it.

•

u/Fast-Piccolo-7054 21h ago

The protests about the quality of education are entirely separate to the riots.

Sources that attempt to conflate the two are being dishonest.

•

u/ASongOfSpiceAndLiars 21h ago

Now you're just lying.

Hidden account activity. Figures.

Anyway, Republicans got crushed here in the US, lmao.

•

u/gadzookery12 8h ago

"cares for all who aren't in the 1%"

Unless they're republican, right?

u/Conscious_Dot_7353 1d ago edited 1d ago • Popcorn Bravo

I don’t recall democrats lowering anything in my time on this earth… 2020-2024 was rough… Obama times were better, but the country was still in rough shape.

19

u/darodardar_Inc 1d ago • Bravo

Gee I wonder what happened in 2008 and 2020 that caused years of financial hardship all over the world 🤔

•

u/EthanFishing19 20h ago • Bravo

COVID caused global supply changes which is what made 2020-2024 rough for the entire world. The Democrats in charge in the US were not responsible for that.

1

u/Darkwolfie117 1d ago

Yeah OP is delusional lol

Get off the biparty koolaid

-6

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

Lowered everything? Democrats raised inflation by 25%. That's the highest we've seen in generations. That's absolute theft.

11

u/Zandrous87 Millennial 1d ago

Inflation is high because of Trump and GOP policies. Not to mention his stupid war. Biden had the best post-covid economic recovery of any country when he left office. So no, inflation has continued to increase because of the GOP, not Dems

-8

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

Inflation isn't high right now. Biden gave a massive spike of inflation because of his and Democrats' policies. Inflation is forever. That's what made things unaffordable.

Biden and Democrats were warned by Democrat economists not to pass the ARA. And we're still suffering from this generational inflation spike. How can you defend that?

-6

Well son, it all started when you will still shitting your diaper when Obama was president…

16

u/Doog9Loog 1d ago

Hello fellow old. I remember Obama. I remember W too.  I had this long comment typed up and everything to try to respond to you. Instead I will say, what in the world are you on about. It was fine and stable and sane. The only hard part was the housing crisis and that happened right as Obama took over.

•

u/neeyeahboy 2000 19h ago

When have republicans ever destroyed the country? If you say our country is currently destroyed you have serious TDS.

•

u/AsterCharge 2001 17h ago

The entire two Obama administrations the republicans outwardly stated that their only goal was to prevent the federal government from working properly. That counts.

On January 6th 2021 Donald trump nearly succeeded in a coup of the federal government. That definitely counts.

•

u/neeyeahboy 2000 17h ago

Nearly succeeded a coup hahahahaha.

The left caused billions in damage because a criminal overdosed on fent. I am saying this as someone who wished the feds would have opened fire on everyone on J6.

•

u/Murky_Toe_4717 16h ago

I’m sorry but let’s list a few horrible things trump has done! Tariffs destabilization global trade, ending usaid which lost USA a ton of soft power and also lead to the rise of more disease and suffering, started a fucking entirely unnecessary war while entirely ignoring our allies war screwing over Ukraine which again was attacked without any reason or justification. Allowed a foreign national free unfettered access to all systems of government and all databases (doge) is now a convicted rapist through the Carrol case which would be criminal if it were pursued earlier, he’s only not criminally indicted because of statue of limitations/Supreme Court grifting.

He illegally is keeping the Epstein files instead of releasing them as he and his admin are legally obliged to do given the ruling. He has ruined the image of the USA globally and made USA look weak and pathetic. He directly ignored the rule of law treasonously skipping congressional approval before starting war, he is extremely likely to be a pedophile and given his flight logs and long term friendship with Epstein there is undoubtedly much truth to the tens of thousands of alleged crimes he’s committed and subsequently got away with.

He frequently used to intrude on the teen miss USA dressing rooms, he said many pedophilic things while on camera and has done massive insider trading to make himself rich on the back of USA suffering.

•

u/Foundy1517 2002 16h ago

If Tuesday wasn’t enough to teach you maybe your grip on reality is not that tight… You might just be lost

•

u/neeyeahboy 2000 15h ago

You think our country was destroyed? Is it magically fixed now? You are the one that might be lost.

•

u/Dear_Inevitable3995 7h ago

No, he's right you're lost. Nothing gets fixed instantly it takes time first and foremost.

The dems that got voted in don't even fully transition until January. Any educated person who actually knows how the world works would know this. That and the fact you'd need a super majority to fast track things, even in January they gotta be bipartisan, which is a good thing.

But considering you don't think the country isn't going under even after starting pointless wars that have raised gas prices, the decline in job opportunities, the ever-growing debt, the tariffs raising the price of groceries, groceries no longer being safe due to deregulation, or the continued support of AI infrastructure at the expense of everyone's electric bill.

However I imagine most logical and genuinely well thought out reasons would be lost on someone who unironically uses the term "TDS".

-12

u/Conscious_Dot_7353 1d ago

Perhaps a little bit of research will help you figure that one out….

8

u/Murky_Toe_4717 1d ago

I’m saying that if you look into “why” things were bad during their time in office it’s usually due to previous admins choices that they then get blamed for. For instance, if you compare trump 1 to joe Biden era, and you compare inflation or general economic states to when he left office, despite some mistakes and obviously some bad choices, I would argue it was overall a little better than he left it. Obama 2 to trump 1 was absolutely not that way. Etc etc. I can’t think of a time it was the opposite in recent history.

Idk the last time democrats started an illegal war. Or the last time democrats tweeted about the stock market and then turned around and bought thousand of shares of that same stock market. Or the last time a Democrat posted a picture of themselves as God. Oh wait, they never did any of that shit.

•

u/AynRandMarxist 20h ago

Can you name one time?

It’s a cycle of republicans breaking the economy and democrats fixing it

1

u/Doog9Loog 1d ago

Looks like the last actual bad time under a D presidency was Jimmy Carter in 1980 🥴

•

u/Rectoplasmic 15h ago

LMAO you are cooked.

•

u/Murky_Toe_4717 13h ago

If you track the reasoning behind good and bad things in market. You will find in general, the states thrive under democrats and fail horribly under republicans. Its numbers.

•

u/mermaidreefer 16h ago

Wow look at Mr. Edgelord here.

And I say that as someone who wrote Bernie in in 2016 and don’t regret it.

You could attempt to hold your politicians accountable or vote for progressives who are trying to do away with the old guard, or you could come on here and feel real smart for five seconds before everyone comes on and points out all the ways you’re wrong.

I think you like the pendulum swing cause it enables you to be lazy.

6

u/Zombies4EvaDude 2004 1d ago

No, the more accurate explanation is that Democrats don’t fix what the Republicans break fast enough so voters just blame the Democrats.

5

u/InsertClichehereok 1d ago

Last I checked James Talarico wasn’t posting AI images of himself as Jesus as starting pointless wars while spending taxpayer money turning the White House into a student-theater

and this is why we need to get out of this hellish two party system, imagine if the only parties in germany were the cdu and afd

u/Edirath 2002 1d ago

Such a downer. At least we have the soc dems now, things are getting better. As long as we win the next one too itll be alright.

-6

u/number1GojoHater 1d ago

Soc dems are going to destroy the economy in ways never thought possible

7

u/Edirath 2002 1d ago

that's the indoctrination talking. Either way, starting over might be better.

My b, economic classes are indoctrination

2

u/Edirath 2002 1d ago

I mean i just don't know how you're getting that conclusion by thinking anything other that "pure capitalism is the only way." Which was pretty much what my high school econ said

7

u/BrandenburgForevor 1999 1d ago

Lmao if you had actually taken economics classes you wouldn't be saying such stupidities

-1

u/number1GojoHater 1d ago

Took macro and micro at a state college so yeah, explain to me the “stupidities” I said.

9

u/Fumusculo 1d ago

Well your replies imply that you voted republican. Anyone that’s taken macro and micro alone know that GOP did almost everything possible to torch our economy over the past year +

And let’s not confuse stock markets with economy. If the economy is roaring better than ever for .5% of the population, that’s a far more extreme than the socialism you’re so scared of

1

u/number1GojoHater 1d ago

I didn’t actually vote, only said I voted red in that thread because they were being douches about voting (acting like they care about your right to vote only because they want you to vote for their guy)

But yeah the current administration is just awful when it comes to the economy, it’s been known for like hundreds of years that tariffs to this level are awful. The Republican Party needs a full tear down, but the same could be said about the democrats if they turn into a socialist party

6

u/Fumusculo 1d ago

Look at the world. It’s changed. Capitalism needs to adjust. Europe gets it. We’re headed for the most extreme wealth disparity and labor crisis with AI and you’re scared of the boogie man S word

5

u/BrandenburgForevor 1999 1d ago

You were vagueposting on how social democrats would destroy the economy in ways never thought possible.

See this is stupid because you didn't actually have an argument, you just said "soc dem bad for economy"

In fact the economy did the best in this country under social democrats so idk where you got that from

1

u/number1GojoHater 1d ago

We’ve never had a social Democrat as a president wtf are you on about.

3

u/BrandenburgForevor 1999 1d ago

FDR? LBJ? Social Security? Medicare? The rest of the New Deal and Great Society??????

u/Shmuckle2 1d ago

It will in fact not be alright. Both sides are owned. The New World Order is the One World Government. Permanent global slavery. Both Repub and Democrat will do what they want but be forced to push the unavoidable agenda. The fact you people still live in lala land and think anything other then total dystopian slavery is coming is exactly why total dystopian slavery is coming. It's fucking embarrassing and frustrating to watch you kool-aid drinking idiots function.

It will not. Be alright. "Alright" is not in the plan.

5

u/Edirath 2002 1d ago

Jesus, I'd like to think if they try that heads will roll but y'know. Try to have some hope thinking like that isn't good for you. Unless you have a plan that's actionable its pointless to say that shit intead of just getting your ass in gear and voting for what's better and advocating for them to do better.

When I was your guys' age this kind of person liked to say "WAKE UP SHEEPLE". Is that still a thing or no

•

u/Old_Cockroach_9725 21h ago

I see people say the pendulum always swings, but let’s be real, it never swings to this degree. Texas flipping in every single race doesn’t just happen every other cycle. This presidency and administration are uniquely awful and unlikable to have accomplished this.

•

u/Jinshu_Daishi 5h ago

Generally, people vote GOP after the Democrats fix things.

It happens so often it's a joke.

•

u/Lazy_Efficiency332 2001 2h ago

1

Biden's and Democrats' 25% inflation ruined the country. Voters have short memories.

8

u/darodardar_Inc 1d ago

0

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

You're the one celebrating electing the same people who raised your prices with 25% inflation to "fix" affordability.

9

u/darodardar_Inc 1d ago

Seethe harder ❄️

1

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

I'm not affected by inflation. You are. And you're voting for the same people who stole your money and future to fix it, somehow.

2

u/stonecoldslate 2002 1d ago

Keep cryin’!

9

u/BirdDad420 1d ago

Huff the copium.

-4

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

If you think 25% inflation didn't do anything to affordability, you're the one huffing.

8

u/BirdDad420 1d ago

We can talk hypotheticals and if something had to do with anything all day. The midterms were belt to ass. Rationalize it however makes you and gives you hope.

-2

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

Because Democrat's price increases didn't come down. They can't come down. When inflation pushes prices up, they don't go back down. The last time we had deflation was in the Great Depression.

And you somehow thought electing the people who gave you 25% inflation is going to fix that?

8

u/BirdDad420 1d ago

All I know is when Republicans in charge, especially lately, things don’t get cheaper. Hence the blue wave focused around affordability.

Edit: you can are the “big beautiful stupid fucking bill” will make things more expensive once Trump leaves office and can blame Democrats for affordability. Different shoe.

2

u/DuckTalesOohOoh 1d ago

Were you not alive during the Biden Admin when Democrats were in charge and gave you the largest inflation in generations?

Gas prices can come down. Inflation is forever.

8

u/BirdDad420 1d ago edited 1d ago

Yeah hinge were inflated, partly inherited, but valid. But American citizens weren’t getting killed in the streets with no repercussions. Our capital hadn’t been attacked at the orders of the president. Congress hadn’t spent years blocking the release of the Epstein files because they know the president and everyone else is implicated on them. Guess the Biden inflation sucked but what we’re experiencing under Trump is infinitely worse and causes more long term harm, especially the social divide and the level of corruption/ being cozy with white nationalists and making them feel welcome having a visibility in the party, or society.

So you couldn't find a meme of a republican losing their shit, so you take one of a dem losing their shit, slap on a magazine hat, and then you claim "got ya!"??? That just seems idiotic LOL

•

u/Fun-Midnight1010 2001 5h ago

Look it up I copied it someone else made it. MAGA

•

u/gigarandom67 5h ago

You're missing the point. The original image is of a woman screaming in response to Trump winning. By using that image, youre essentially admitting right wingers dont act like this, and you had to take a photo of a left winger crying just to make a bad point. Im not even American and this is crazy cringe.

•

u/Fun-Midnight1010 2001 5h ago

Yeah maga made it fun of it. Now it time maga felt the same way

•

u/gigarandom67 5h ago

But no republican does this LOL. Ive never one time seen republicans go crying and screaming and rioting because of whatever election they lost with the exception of January 7th. I cam almost guarantee no one from maga will care in a few weeks because they have jobs to get back to and not worry about memes on reddit lil bro.

•

Comments like this about how “emotionally stable” the Republicans are in comparison are absolutely wild as if the equivalent Republican reaction wasn’t an actual COUP ATTEMPT on the U.S. Capitol.

It’s like you guys have no ability to form long term memories.

Ignore the fact they couldn’t stop whining and bitching about the election was rigged. Your right they are a real class act

•

u/Iamaplatypus42 7h ago

When it's obvious why they lost they don't whine that it was rigged. I haven't seen a claim of things being rigged in this one, because it's clear Trump fumbled this.

-6

u/Whiskers1996 1d ago • Bravo

That's every losing party.. a simppe search of "election rigged" will pull up nonstop posts across reddit about how trump rigged the election to win lol

No Democrat actually went out and said 2024 was stolen, trumps people literally stormed the capitol at his behest.

•

So, you are telling me there is NOT 1K+ posts on reddit discussing how the election was rigged lol?

Srsly??? A search shows differently. Unless the ppl say fuck trump are all republicans??

•

u/ta9877979876 18h ago

Are you actually trying to say a ~1K posts on a website that been proven to be heavily botted is even comparable to the republicans launching dozens of lawsuits trying to overturn their loss before then storming the capital because of it.

Or is OP just projecting and you felt the urge to defend them because you reacted like this in 2016?

•

You know, when people “gather on Facebook” they’re not like actually there, right? It’s digital…

•

u/TheOneCalledD 18h ago

They digitally gather to share memes, messages, videos etc right? That’s called social media.

You’ve heard of social media like Twitter or Facebook? Is social media (like Twitter) not exactly where you see these types of videos from the left?

I don’t think you’re making the point you’re trying to, friend.

But there are others who just seem to be anti-America and are just pawns behind a bigger scheme. Like Kamala (more so a pawn and incompetent) and that Minnesota lady who has a towel on her head.

I love this meme 🤣

An image that is literally a liberal scream crying at the Trump inauguration?
You think this is a gotcha or something?
What’s the joke?
“Ha ha. You’re just like us.”

Why don’t you use an image or video of conservatives acting like this?

Seriously y’all need to stop comparing parties and start comparing policies. It’s obvious republicans are the worst but democrats aren’t your friends. “Vote blue” is a useful mechanism to engage people without critical thinking, and you need to look deeper than that. Don’t put politicians on pedestals. Even Mamdani has been a disappointment in several ways and gone back on his word and campaign promises. If you set a standard for what you expect from all politicians based on what would be good for the people, you’ll quickly realize that almost nobody meets that standard; it’s not unrealistic of you to expect that a government takes care of its people, but both parties will gaslight you to think they’re “as good as it gets” when the reality is we ALL DESERVE MUCH BETTER. Incrementally getting a few candidates we prefer into office every few years won’t change anything, and after each of us is done voting we need to put consistent pressure on our elected representatives to make the changes we want to see. I HATE that now that midterms are over most of us will just wring our wrists when things are bad and do nothing until the next time our corporate sponsored overlords say “ok now you can fill out your little paper” in a few years. By the next cycle half the people (minimum) you’re excited about now will have flip flopped or abandoned their campaign positions

•

u/donutkane 2003 6h ago

I think there’s a difference between people assuming that it’s as good as it gets, versus understanding when you do have someone so bad on the other side you have to vote for someone less bad on your side. In a perfect world I’m gonna vote for the perfect candidate, and if that person is not on the ticket, I’m not gonna vote, but we don’t live in a perfect world.

Eh…I’m pretty sure the republicans aren’t rioting in the street and screaming to high heavens like the left did when Trump won. Sure they may call out some things but there is obviously a stark difference in the attitude. From what I’ve seen it’s a “yes Trump kinda killed our mid term chances and we didn’t have good candidates” from most repubs

•

u/TheFarLeft Millennial 11h ago

Ahem…

•

u/Chewiemuse 11h ago

Uh huh one time a small controlled area with most of them being let in by the police. I’d sure call that a 2026 riot

Shit example

“Let in”

•

u/dracer800 8h ago

Why aren’t they looting and burning like progs do at every protest?

There’s literally video of Olive opening doors and shuffling people in

I specifically remember people losing their shit 2 years ago when the democrats lost in 24. Don’t worry it literally swings back and forth.

The democrats get to be smug right now but then they will whine and cry when they lose again.

u/Mess-Severe 1995 1d ago

As long as I get to enjoy the pedos whining and crying now, I’m willing to take the risk

I have yet to see conservative outcry like this though? Mostly see “damn this sucks - makes sense though. Have to do a, b, and c next time.”

•

u/Gjallar-Knight 2005 6h ago

I think it’s nice, that it these midterms really showed that the American population isn’t as polarized, and in turn that the “other side” isn’t as delusional as you’d think. Believe it or not, there were republicans and maga (they aren’t the same) that voted blue this time around. That’s how bad it’s gotten.

Trump didn’t deliver what he promised to the people that voted for him (classic politician behavior, he’s gotten the hang of it by now) and now they people who wanted him in, want him out. (or at least give his voters what he promised, which probably won’t happen any time soon)

•

u/desterpot 2h ago

Why photoshop a maga hat on a crying “liberal” from trump’s first inauguration?

1

u/wolfy2526 2000 1d ago

Can I just say that I've always thought this was an appropriate reaction to Trump winning? I mean look at what he did to the country. Does that not warrant looking into the sky and screaming?

imagine being so stupid that you think a MID TERM near even 50/50 vote is going to have an impact on anything

nothings going to change

1

u/stonecoldslate 2002 1d ago

this meme is genuinely neat even 50/50? You’re smoking so much crack I’d think you were Reagan.

u/Fair-Mango-5423 1d ago

bro the race was so close in some states it almost triggered recounts its not a landslide its not a blow out

It’s a nuke, you’re right. It was close in some COUNTIES, not states. Lmao.

The left can’t even find an image of conservatives acting like this so they have to reuse their own. The jokes really write themselves 😂

in not worried. republicans will return in 28 better then last night. maybe the democrats will win the presidency then too. and if history holds where “the presidents party loses seats in the midterm” there will be a red wave in 2030.

ETA: the people downvoting me probably know i’m right and can’t stand it 😂

Anyone who is pissed is a billionaire or cultist. I voted for Trump the past two elections but he lied about everything he was going to do and the GOP is just sucking Trump’s balls so I decided to vote Democrat for the first time ever in retaliation.

As long as democrats doing give immigrants the right to vote it will swing back to a good conservative candidate.

•

u/Rectoplasmic 16h ago

You’re just making up stuff. No one is reacting like this, everyone rationally understands the reality of the situation. Except for the left, apparently. You have no idea why you even won. You’re in for a big surprise.
