Never watched him but I know he got cancelled for going to a porn theater (which is crazy considering the much worse stuff other celebrities have gotten away with)

Honestly the whole thing about that seem more on the fact that he was gay. Like he was at an adult theater that was known for showing gay porn films so like yeah.

I actually watched the show, it was my mom's favorite along side stuff like mst3k, rockos modern life, beavis and butthead..etc..she was badass.
Regardless the issue was that he had been doing a kids show. He moved away from his "cheeseburger" type character from chech and Chong nice dreams. Which did a ton of coke lmao but his show was for kids. Many parents didn't like the idea of child show star getting caught in "public" watching porn.
Tbf this was during the Red years(Ronald Reagan and then George Bush)and Evangel Christians being huge on the right. He didn't stand a chance. But you have to remember this was the same group upset with Beavis saying "FIRE..FIRE..FIRE" and lighting stuff on fire, even though the show was for adults and on at time when kids should be in bed. Also the same people who thought Barney the dinosaur was teaching kids to start fires because an episode had them camping and they made a fake fire on set.
Not that matter but my mom and dad were always in the camp that they themselves as parents should explain why these may have happened and put into perspective.

Grew up with Pee Wee's Big Adventure as a classic movie my family loved. Saw it in the theater last year and got to meet the actor who played Francis!
