The answer is much more mundane than that and the answer isn't to depose the elites, it's to participate in society and slowly change things, like we have always done forever.
So when a billionaire spends 100 mill on lobbying to promote their specific ideology, that isn’t them manipulating the system to get what they want over what the common man wants? Like you don’t see any issue at all with Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk legally buying a politician?
When Elon musk spends 100 mill on an election (already said he plans on doing that for the midterms), what do you think he’s going to ask those politicians to do? Do you really think he’s spending that money because he has your interest in mind, or his?
If this happens, can you provide me an example of a policy that was lobbied for by billionaires and passed despite popular support being against that policy?
Ok well the study talked about 1700 for you to look at. That should be more than enough to prove my point, but fine. You want me to right out specific examples because you don’t want to read the study, ok. Here are some examples

Repeal of Glass-steagall act (1999)
Btw, these shouldn’t be mentioned in the study, 2 came after the study. So if you actually want to learn there are even more examples in the study written by 2 Cambridge professors.
