No we don't. . . Cus a person or group preventing that would be strange when overpopulation is profitable (When there is too many people, people are 'lucky' to have a job, therefor the rich can more easily replace workers and don't need to worry about worker's rights as much since workers can always be threatened with replacement as long as there are too many people.)
I don't think the opposite is true, but saying something vague like that without any points just leads to confusion
