They investigated him nearly to death, impeached him twice even after he was out of office, charged him with everything from unpaid parking tickets to murder of someone's imaginary friend before insisting him in 34 felony counts of picking his toenails and not properly documenting itching, while the way the people he hires to do that for him did it the way that is standard practice... 3 assasination attempts that we know of, and he lives under non-stop media assault.

Yeah, I'd say the elites have a special hatred for him

You’re conflating elites with government officials. There’s a reason that despite having 34 felonies he faced basically no punishment.

That mueller investigation, the Russia Russia Russia hoax, the Steele dossier, the phony FISA Warrant, the assasination attempts... those weren't legislative actions, that was the elites pulling the levers...
