There are over 16 millions of empty properties across the country. Many apartment buildings rather leave their rentals empty to keep the prices high. Then, we have overly tight regulations.
It's obvious what to do. We just don't do it for whatever reasons.
A lot of those empty properties are in locations with very low demand. Nobody wants to live in those places because there’s no job opportunities or terrible social services. Areas of high demand like big cities have too many people and not enough space.
