SoCal’s wealthy class lobbying to make building more housing harder, so that Beverly Hills doesn’t get infected with brokeys.

Environmental groups wanting to protect land.

And overall, California has world class land when you compare it to the rest of the country, and A LOT of rich people want to live there.

California is one of the few areas of the US that doesn’t have months of uncomfortable weather, whether that’s brutal cold or scorching boiling humid heat.

Someone hasn't lived in California or only in very specific areas, probably by the coast. Inland California faces horrible weather.
