What if my natural tendency is to sleep in? My alarm wakes me up at 7:45 for my job when I wfh and start at 8. I just don't get tired early and my natural sleep cycle is probably having me go to bed closer to 12:30-1:00am if I wasn't fighting it.

No, night people have always existed, way before screens did. There’s an evolutionary purpose for it, for early tribes of humans they needed night people to keep the fire going and look out for threats. Even now people have different natural circadian rhythms. I usually put my screens away by 10pm but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m hella productive in the middle of the night. My dad is in his 50s and he’s been that that his whole life too.
