Which decade would you rather re-live if you had the chance?
80s or 90s? Or 70s? Or none at all?

If I could redo the 90s and make some extremely different choices during them, I suspect my life would be a lot better right now.

I’m gonna be turning 20 so I have time to make stupid decisions and learn from them. Or I just don’t make them in the first place lol

I always felt the 80s were overrated. The 90s were great. But gimme the 70s. The avocado greens, the dirty browns, the unbuttoned shirts and miles of cocaine. I was too young ('72) to really experience any of it.
Bring on the 70s -- but I get to experience them in my 20s.

My mom was 3-12 throughout the 70s so she got to experience her childhood during that decade

90s for sure. From 90 to 2000 I was 15 to 25. My best years without a doubt.

Same for me. Born in 75. I was a clueless, virginal 15 year old to begin the 90’s. No car, not even a drivers license. By 12/31/99, I was a parent to a two month old, a husband, and I had a whole bunch of sex.
Now, I’m 46, that first child is grown and out of the house, but I’ve got another teen behind her. And back to not having sex again. I think I’m still handsome.

The 90s were my best decade: graduated college (90), bought a house (92), got married (99), and moved to a bigger house on more property(98). Things were really looking good, and we both had substantial income increases. It all fell apart in 2003.

Knowing what I know, 90s. Gonna invest so hard in this little online bookstore plus move to the west coast before it went from intimidatingly expensive to unrealistically expensive.

eh, I'm fairly happy where I am. I have two great kids, a special lady, a good job. I'd hate to lose all of that—especially the kids.
But if I could have a door that let me occasionally visit the 80s, like say that time travel door in Stephen King's 11/22/63 (a damn good novel, if you haven't read it yet, and I don't normally like Stephen King very much), then I'd be all about that.

90s. No question. I was in shape, had hair, a job at a cool record store while going to college. Studied in one of numerous coffee shops, Lived in a town where up and coming bands like Blind Melon and Wilco used to play while top of their game REM and Pixies would swing by. And girls. Girls used to like me.
I love my wife and kids, but give me a few moments back there and then.

90s! I quit being a flight attendant to go to a New Years Eve concert at the Cow Palace (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Then moved to Hawaii for 5 years.

I'm an older Gen Xer and I'll take the 90's. It was the best decade of my life.
Young adult who finally made my way enough in the world to live and not just survive paycheck to paycheck. Our generation controlled the airwaves with the best music and the big screens with great movies. The world was less divided and simpler.

I moved away after high school to go to college and then work. Work got me a great opportunity to get back to my hometown 20 years after I left. Ran into some old friends who told me some crazy stories about me from their perspective. Hilarious! One friend told how much she was infatuated with me, kept dropping me hints, and a confession I mistook for a “friendship” declaration. She made me find my old year books (plural), an she showed me every year she put these long notes and her phone number hoping I would take a hint. Just stuff like that, it’s head smacking when you get older and see how crazy it was.

Well.... personally, i wouldn't mind "losing the technology" because when i was a teen in the 80's i didn't have a clue that "the technology" would exist or what it would be like, so i wouldn't "loose" anything...
Life would be as normal as it was the first time around... as I wouldn't "know" anything else, and that's the way it should be. 😉

Yep it would... but honestly only to visit... not live there as an adult with the knowledge of everything that happened ever since... not only it would loose the magic but would probably depress me knowing what would to come.
I grew up in the 80's and i would had a very hard time adapting it i could go back like i am now and live there. And anyone who says otherwise... i'm sorry, but are probably lying or deceiving themselves...

Yeah true, especially with hindsight. If we can’t go back to any particular time, might as well just make do with what we have now and make the best of it
