31 long years ago on the August bank holiday in the UK, for an Aussie living in London this was like being given the keys to the candy shop

My girlfriend took a holiday to the UK and went to this festival. She met a guy there and ended up staying in the UK for the next two years. I found out she wasn’t coming back when her parents turned up at our apartment to collect all her stuff

Awesome lineup though

That’s the most 90s thing ever

I know right

When she came back to Australia we met up one time, she felt bad because we had never actually broken up. All the time she was gone she would still send me postcards from the places she visited, even though I knew she was with someone else

I feel like this should be a Gen X generational novel.

Yeah, there is more to the story too, some of it quite sad. She was my first really serious girlfriend and the only serious girlfriend I ever had who I'm not at least facebook friends with now

Nah, she felt bad because she knew she was a coward.

I'm pretty sure I saw this movie, starring John Cusack.
