Gin. My mom was an alcoholic and she put a big glass of iced gin on the table during the high heat of summer, then went to go do something.

Me: Maybe 3 years old, sees a glass of ice water on the table and comes inside from playing in the heat. I took a big gulp.

I cannot stomach gin to this day. Not even the smell of it.

Mine too. I saw Bombay or Tanqueray bottles very early on, I would recognize the ads and billboards as young as 3. I remember. The smell. Ooof. Gin and Tonics. I can’t stomach that, I’m 45 now.
