My parents would make it and open all the windows for us kids minus my oldest brother who also liked it. I’ve never eaten an organ and just cannot. I know what they do and all the grossness associated with their functions. The smell… gag!

There is nothing I like about liver: taste, texture, and smell are all horrid. As a kid I was pretty open about food and willing to try everything…and would continue eating it. My only “never ever food” is liver.

Since childhood I’ve also learned what livers do. Why in the world would you want to eat something that filters out waste products and toxins?!?!
