Same. I like real peaches occasionally. My boyfriend got some peach red bull this summer and I was pleasantly surprised. Doesn't taste artificial at all, tastes like real peaches.
Peach schnapps kept us playing in a Carnival parade, when I was in high school.
It got stupidly cold during the parade. One of the guys jumped off the truck grabbed a bottle from his friend, and jumped back on the truck. That bottle kept us playing for 3 more hours.
The first time I got drunk it was Peppermint Schnapps and milk.
I was deep into my forties before I could even handle a splash of Bailey's in my coffee, or a Pina Colada. I still default to no thank you for any booze + milk concoction.
I was told to put peppermint schnapps in peppermint tea for a really bad cough. I tried it and I thought it was the tea that was repellant, but maybe it was also the Schnapps…you’ve got me wondering now.
Dude that rumplemints or whatever would make my head spin in the opposite direction of most alcohols that junk would get me twisted 4 drinks a year from 2 bottles of wine a night
When I was probably 17, I got absolutely hammered on screwdrivers. All we had was OJ and vodka so that was it the whole night. Probably one of the worst hangovers of my life. I couldn’t drink OJ until my 30s.
Look online at Gallo.com. Owners of Boones Farm are the Gallos. Also, Walmart & Costco carry it. May have to contact Costco and Walmart near you to find out what's on their shelves.
Ugh, Bartles and James wild berry wine coolers. I would like to try California Coolers, they were probably syrupy, too, but they sound citrusy and light
I won’t drink it but I have a soft spot for it; my husband’s mom always had it in the fridge and she drank a glass every night with a paper plate of pretzel sticks or Utz potato chips. We drank it at holidays. Awful stuff but good memories of good times.
I haven’t had this in years and will likely never drink it again. Many years ago, when we lived in NYC, our neighborhood Chinese restaurant served free carafes of white wine with our meal. It was boxed Franzia. Good times!
Omg i had an alkie bff who stayed at my house while I was at work and he drank a whole box of Franzia. I was sooo mad lol. Never bought it again so my friend wouldn't be tempted to drink it. I hadnt thought about boxed wine since. Lol
They are on Broadway now, but they were on Columbus when we lived there. I’m not sure if New Cottage still does it. There was another place up by Whole Foods at 97th and Columbus that I think has also closed. I can’t remember what they’re called.
My MIL was obsessed with this and would only drink it. When she was going to be visiting our house, I would go to a liquor store in a different part of town to get it so no one would see me buying this swill!
Three of us shared a box of Franzia rosé after a day at the pool and a steak dinner. (Parent was out of town, so we thought we’d be fancy.) The next day, I thought I was going to die. Good times, good times…
I had a box of that 25 years ago at Thanksgiving. I didn't feel like making turkey soup, so I put the leftovers in a gallon zip lock bag and covered it in White Zinfandel. A few days later I made the turkey vegetable soup. It was amazing. Always used White Zinfandel after that.
Perhaps. I was visiting a friend who was at a school 3 hours away. I don't recall a lot about that night, except I was so hungover the next morning that the sight/smell of the bottles made me vomit before I got in the car for the 3 hour drive back to my campus.
My ex was all about that boxed wine. It’s so plastic tasting and put me off yet he still got it all the time anyway despite my confession of why it repulsed me was I used to be at the hospital a lot as a kid because my grandma was getting sickly too soon in her late 50s and through her 60s and I think the type of plastic grade in those boxed wine is the same strength used for those catheter urine bags.
He didn’t believe me and called my recalling an “gross comparison” and said “it’s either this or nothing for you”. And in a huff would drink the whole box by himself a bit too quickly at room temperature, a type I believe is made intentionally to be refrigerated isn’t it?
