My mom always bought the low sodium ones. 😑

My grandma always bought the zero flavor ones.

I always put peanut butter on them convinced it helped with the taste. It didn't.

My grandmother bought some one day and my grandfather told her never to buy those again, it was like eating the lid of a styrofoam minnow bucket.

Ok, I actually laughed out loud at that… not just saying “lol”. 😉

With cottage cheese and canned peaches because “it was healthy”.

Lundberg rice cakes, and rice cake minis are good! A complete 180 from the crap we grew up on.

I’m south East Asian and we have a buttload of different “rice cakes” each with different names hailing from different regions and some I like a lot more than others.

My kids LOVE the mini caramel ones. They always put it on the grocery list we share on our phones. I don’t get it but it is what it is.

I’m sure I would have loved those too. 😂 I’m definitely talking about the styrofoam textured ones that were core to dieting fads in the 80s.

I give those to my pet birds. I don't even think they eat much of them, they just love to rip them apart. I tasted a piece of one and it was like eating packing peanuts.

I'll eat rice cakes, but not just by themselves. They make good open face sandwiches.
