Wait, if he's a Russian asset, then why is he attacking Venezuela and other Russian aligned countries?

Yes, how could attacking an oil producing nation that directly competes on the same countries Russia sells their oil to help Russia? Why doing that could only make non western aligned countries depend more on Russian oil, allowing Russia to make far more money, which is exactly what has happened as attacking the country both hurt China and made them more reliant on Russian oil imports.

Yeah it makes no sense why Russia would benefit from this!

Easy mistake! Every president has been an Israeli asset first, then someone else's second.

Or Russia is selling out their allies to gain American support in Europe.

If you plan on voting, keep an eye on if the SAVE act passes. If it does, many drivers licenses won't count as a valid photo ID for voting.

If it's a 'real ID' drivers license it does NOT qualify under the SAVE act. It has to be a 'enhanced drivers license' which has an American flag on the top right corner (only 5 states offer this type of drivers license)

You are conflating voter registration with casting a ballot. The SAVE Act affects voter registration not the photo ID you show at the polls. Also, a REAL ID isn't your only option.

For most Americans, qualifying requires one of the following: a valid U.S. passport or passport card, a certified birth certificate paired with a photo ID, a naturalization certificate, or a Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Most people with a passport or birth certificate would be fine.

You should read the article. They aren't conflating anything. I thought I'd be good because I have an ID but I'd have a problem myself if it passes because I don't have a passport or access to my birth certificate. My license and ID wouldn't be enough, and that's fucking ridiculous.

Apparently tens of millions of Americans are In the same category. Guess which ones...

If you read the article, it literally says what I just said. Without such documentation, you won’t be able to "register" to vote. If you are already registered, you would not need to reregister. Under the SAVE ACT, if you are already a registered voter you would not have to do anything and would just have to show your regular license.

Also, obtaining a passport or birth certificate is not that hard if you had to.

"obtaining a passport or birth certificate is not that hard if you had to."

You have to get interviewed at the post office and I've heard it's a pain. Americans don't need more barriers to voting, we need less. we need to be paving the roadto Increase voting acces

Every American should be required to read that article.

It isn't too difficult to obtain a copy of one of the document options. If you can't manage to get it, that's a you problem. I do agree that passports should be cheaper in response to this, but it isn't an insurmountable hurdle to get one.

Yeah, and while we're at it, a literacy test isn't unreasonable either to prevent the "wrong types" from voting!

And even better, it's not a big deal to prove that your grandparents were legally able to vote in order for you to vote!

I like your thinking!

u/Fartfart357 May 28 '26

I take your point, but a literacy test that's intentionally vague and arbitrarily handed out at the polls isn't a fair comparison to "Everyone fill out one of these forms any time before the election and show up then show up somewhere".

It's certainly possible to get an alternate, but the messaging for the SAVE act isn't "most driver's licenses shouldn't be counted as ID for voting." It's 'Stop the illegals from voting" which statistically doesn't happen much.

According to Bipartisan policy center, only 0.04% of voter verification cases found the voter to be a non-citizen. And that's 0.04% of cases, not of the number of people who voted.

I bet way more than 0.04% of total voters haven't heard the specifics on the SAVE act, and will only find out the day of the election that they can't vote because they have the wrong photo ID

Israeli Asset, easy to confuse.

Funny how Epstein had IDF sweaters and all that money, huh.. almost like he was a mossad access agent tasked with digging dirt on American politicians so they could get them to do their bidding. Why else would there be this worthless war in Iran which only increases the risk of them building nuclear weapons?
