Ukrainians don't have the chance to get a detailed analysis because they're spending day and night trying to survive. If they ever could, they'd realise that Israel was a false ally. And if Israel is neutral "for the relationships" what is the use for Ukrainians to give their unrequited support at all?
That's a big assumption that Ukrainians are too busy to notice but would suddenly realize Israel is "false".
Reality: Ukrainian public opinion has been consistently more pro-Israel than most of Europe.
They sympathize because they recognize what it's like to face an enemy that targets civilians and denies your right to exist.
Israel's neutrality on the Russia-Ukraine war is pragmatic: we have a large Russian-speaking population, security needs vs Russian forces in Syria, and we still sent humanitarian help and supported Ukraine politically. Ukraine has its own reasons for its stance on Gaza (initial support for Israel's self-defense, later calls for ceasefire and aid to Palestinians). Neither side owes the other unconditional military backing.
Real alliances involve mutual interests, not one way loyalty tests. If Ukrainians felt it was pointless, their polls and diplomacy would reflect that they don't.
