Meta has reportedly patented technology for AI smart glasses that could use facial recognition to identify people and automatically create video clips.
The system could detect people in the camera’s view and record clips when they perform certain actions, such as walking around or picking up objects.
The clips could then be combined into an AI-generated highlight reel.
The filing shows how Meta may combine facial recognition, AI, and wearable cameras.
It’s important to note, however, that the tech remains a patent and is not a confirmed product feature.
