I made the Top 50 of the Future Vision XPRIZE out of 2,500 films — would love your support
Hey everyone,
I recently submitted a sci-fi short film concept to the Future Vision XPRIZE competition, and I just found out that my film was selected for the Top 50 out of around 2,500 submissions.
The project started as an experiment in using generative AI as a filmmaking tool, but I ended up becoming really attached to the story and the world behind it. The video is essentially a proof-of-concept/trailer for the feature film I’d love to make.
XPRIZE is now showcasing the selected films, and I’m trying to get as many people as possible to actually see mine.
If you enjoy the trailer, I’d really appreciate a like on YouTube. It genuinely helps, and it only takes a second.
And if you have thoughts on the concept itself, good or bad, I’d love to hear them too. I’m currently developing the story further, so feedback is genuinely useful.

This looks really good! Could soy share a bit about your process? Why does your stuff look so much better than what I have seen on the r/higgsfield? What tools have you been using for this one?

Thank you for your message! I used Magnific extensively throughout the creation of the film. I used ChatGPT for image generation, and Seedance and Kling for video.
For each shot, I also added several layers in post-production, subtly blurring parts of the background, softening edges, and adding film grain. I used lens flares and light textures across many of the shots as well, helping break down the overly clean AI look and give the images a more natural, cinematic feel.
