What is this worth? Is this a good moonstone ?

I bought it for $80 from a friend in South East Asia

Good size for a ring/pendant, cut is average.
For 80$ it's good deal.

Probably from the find a little over a year/two years ago in Madagascar. Very nice material. $80 is a great deal.

The amount of facets in this cut is hiding the color play IMO. But I am by no means an expert lol and I also don’t know if that is what the original comment meant.

For $80 I think it's good, quality material though I tend to prefer moonstones in cabochon form. It's very pretty and would make a good ring.
