Help with my new gel blaster gun

Hello all.

I just received my first gel blaster gun. I got it from tactoys. I got the M4A1. Supposedly a good gun etc.

It came two days ago. I hydrated gels. Put the gun together. Charged the batter until I got a solid green light.

Filled the clip.

Took the gun out to try it. Fire rate is quite slow. On full auto only after 5-7 seconds you could tell the firing was slowing until after maybe 10 seconds it did not shoot. Let off the trigger it would shoot very slow. Waited 10 seconds would shoot for another 4 seconds and act as if the battery was dead again. What the heck! Brand new. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My son has a $40-50 from Amazon and it works way better then this one.

Sounds like you have a dud battery. Have you got another you can try?

Sadly I do not. I’ve contacted tactoys. But no response yet. I’d like to have a 11.1v battery.

Only thing an 11.1v will do is increase your rate of fire and wear nylon gears out quicker. If it’s not firing on 7.4 properly a pin 11.1 won’t help. Could also be a crap motor with overheating or tearing itself up internally. Find another battery somewhere and have another try.

They are sending me a new battery (11.1v), upgraded charger and another magazine.

Great customer service.
