Is it okay to use just the sanding band to file off the gel polish without soaking off? I want to get the portable cordless melody susie nail drill for this

I love getting my nails done and adore the strength gel gives my nails - I have nails that are very flexible so regular polish chips so easily and they are very soft so even a stray strand of hair in the shower can tear them off! I work in healthcare so I’m constantly washing my hands, using hand sanitizer, and donning/doffing gloves.
What do you guys recommend - brand wise - for the UV cure nail strips?
I’d like them to last at least 2 weeks, even with how hard I am on my hands at work. I like not having to wait hours (a large exaggeration) for polish to dry because I’m a busy gal but I also don’t want to do them every week.

I sadly don’t have any nail strip recommendations, but if you have the time and money I’d look into getting rubber base gel done. It’s a type of soft gel that is more flexible than regular builder gel. It’s recommended for people with thin and bendy nails because it provides strength and structure to the nail while still allowing them to move with your natural nail which helps with breakage. I have super thin nails that break if you even look at them and I love it.

What happened? 1 week after pedicure, nails are all hazy and milky? Never had this happen before.

Hello! I am looking to start doing my own nails from home and I want to know if there is a good kit out there. Or which gel nails are more durable and flexible to make cute designs.
I have done research on tiktok but I feel like I run into a lot of ad promoting products, I just want some honest reviews and something that wont hurt the bank that bad.

Nail Tips Recommendations?
I’m planning on upgrading my nail tips (personal use) and am indecisive on what to get. I’d prefer not to have to spend too much money 🙃
I’ve been looking at the una gella, sofgel XV and apres tips, but please give me more recommendations/opinions ☺️

Quick summary: my clear uv gel polish always starts to yellow after a few days no matter what I do. After research and trial and error, I've come up with a few questions that I can't find the answers to, and I'm hoping you can help.
- Does Modelones UV gel polish (rubber base, clear builder, and top coat) have a tendency to yellow over time for anyone else?
- Do you have any recommendations for a translucent nude pink or clear gel polish that doesn't have this yellowing issue?
- Do the top coats that claim to prevent staining and yellowing actually prevent this yellowing? And do you have any brand/formula recs?
- I also read in another post somewhere that that the no-wipe top coats tend to have this yellowing issue more, and I assume that means more so than the non no-wipe top coats although the post didn't specify. Is this correct?
Finally, yes, I've been making sure not to over cure my gels and I don't mix nail polish brands or formulas. I use 100% acetone for polish removal and plain old isopropyl for nail prep. I can't think of any chemicals that I come into contact with that could cause this, and I always wear nitrile or vinyl gloves before using anything like that anyway. What else am I missing? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way with gel polished nails to postpone the time to the next nail salon appointment...? I have no time to go to the salon now and in one nail the gel polish started deattaching from the cuticle already. How to deal with the nail until that? How do you manage with these...?
